Here are some of the most common questions I get from families about therapy. If you don’t see your question answered below, contact me.

Grace Family Counseling is an out-of-network private pay practice, which means we do not accept insurance. Some insurance providers may offer out-of-network benefits and we will provide you a superbill (receipt) which you may submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

$250 (90 minute session) – Initial counseling intake session
$150 (50-minute session) — Under 18
$150 (50-minute session) — 18+
$150 (50-minute session) — Couples and Families
Groups pricing will be determined when scheduled.
Cash, major credit cards, and Employee Assistant Benefits are accepted.

Yes! My office is located in beautiful North Scottsdale in the Presidio building at the corner of Pima and Pinnacle Peak Road. It offers over 2000 sq. feet of art and expressive therapy areas, a large Sand Tray room, young children’s room, and a large working therapy room for children and adolescents, including a stage and puppet theater.

Children are encouraged to engage in counseling sessions at least once a week to grow and gain momentum. After school appointments are available to minimize school disruptions.

Every child and family are unique, and we will collaborate to customize a tailored treatment plan for you and your family. There is no one size fits all therapy approach and at Grace Counseling we want to help you thrive – not just put a band aid on.

If you need to cancel, we allow for a 24-hour advanced notice. The full session fee will be charged if the required advanced notice is not received. That said, we do understand life does happen and emergencies will occur. Please note we will accommodate you as best we can in an emergency.
